Richard is joined by DeMareo Cooper, co-executive director of the Center for Popular Democracy, who discussed the impact of proposed health care cuts on 80 million Americans, emphasizing the significant transfer of wealth away from working-class families. He characterized members of the Republican Party as "confederates" who use racism and xenophobia to exploit working people.

"These are people who are not interested in government," Cooper told WCPT. "They're not interested in debate and will do anything they can to continue to take the American people's wealth and resources in order to enrich their friends and themselves."

Cooper also highlighted the importance of the Mobilize to Save Healthcare March in Washington, D.C., on March 12.
