Dr. Lyerly discussed the impact of misinformation on public health and highlighted the dangers of not vaccinating. She criticized Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for spreading false information, which has led to reduced cancer screenings and vaccine hesitancy. She also addressed the challenges of health care access in rural areas due to Trump administration policies, and the need for better mental health care for veterans.
