Richard is joined by Dr. LaMenta Conway, founder and board president of the I Am Abel Foundation. The organization, which Dr. Conway founded in 2015 after gun violence impacted her family, is housed at Northwestern University and supports underrepresented youth in Chicago through mentorship and educational programs, with the goal of raising "the next generation of health care heroes," she said. It has expanded to include students from across the U.S. and Africa.
