We repost the interview now, after Glenn Davis and Branden Jacobs-Jenkins accepted the Best Play award for “Purpose” at the 78th Annual Tony Awards (June 8, 2025). Davis was also nominated for Best Featured Actor in a Play for his portrayal of Solomon "Junior" Jasper in "Purpose."
