United States, thereby allowing Trump to evade criminal accountability before the November election (the ruling confers presidential immunity for acts committed as president). He also spoke of the influence of campaign money on judicial elections and discussed "sore loser" laws, which prevent primary losers from running in general elections, and their role in political polarization.
