Just a few short weeks away from the launch of WCW Nitro, the company presented it's Bash At The Beach pay-per-view which would feature a cage match main event pitting WCW World Champion, Hulk Hogan, against Big Van Vader. In addition, Randy Savage and Ric Flair would do battle in a Lifeguard Match and Sting would defend his US Title against Meng. All of this would take place on a public beach in the raging hot sun, making for a unique show in more ways than one...
