WCW was losing the Monday Night War by the time Vince Russo made his way to the company. Eric Bischoff helped make WCW the number one wrestling company in the world for two or three years. With both of these men taking over the creative team, surely WCW's future would be bright, right?
Wrong. WCW had the idea of rebooting the program and featuring the Young vs Old for a battle of the ages. What didn't help the story was Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo being main characters. This first show features more than 30 different segments in one show. Every match has a run in and there is barely any wrestling.
We believe this could have been the start of a great angle but it was just doomed from the start. We will break it all down for you!
