Matthew 8:28-34 reminds us that we all have our demons. We are all drawn to sin that is:

Fleeting (v. 29)

Destructive (vv. 30-32)

Alluring (vv.33-34)

The good news of the gospel is that Jesus deals with our demons: not by driving them into pigs, but by taking them upon himself. His death on the cross forgives us, and his resurrection invites us to new life with him. Because Christ is risen, addictions can be broken, habits can be transformed, and hope can be found!
