Our fifth value at CMC is surrendered obedience. Humility is not just about thinking about yourself less but it’s about dying to yourself and emptying yourself so there’s room for God to fill you. Active humility is a daily posture and attitude of the heart. It's an active pursuit. It's about a posture and a position. He doesn’t need us to be able. He needs us to be empty. God must increase in our lives and we must decrease.
