While the old saying of 'blood is thicker than water' is true, it doesn't capture the larger truth that could be a global aspiration. We fail to see that while our birth families are the entry point into this world, we are still part of the universal family of this planet. The scripture that says, 'a house divided against itself shall not stand' is just as true today as it ever was. We need to live into that truth and simply change the world.
