Pastor Felipe Martinez responded “For me to sit across a table and sharing a meal with a Muslim member of the community means that we share a sense of commitment and a sense of dedication to live a life of faith, to live a life of peace and community, in support of community. I have much to learn from our Muslim siblings because theirs is a tradition that I am not very familiar with. There’s an opportunity for learning about their particular religion as well as different cultures that might be involved.”
