Most people think professionalism is about fitting in, but what if it’s actually the reason we feel disconnected from ourselves? This podcast explores the tension between who we are and who we feel pressured to be at work, in relationships, and in everyday life.
Through candid conversations, we unpack how different environments shape our behavior, how limiting beliefs form, and what it looks like to actually understand yourself beyond the roles you play.

Odalys Jasmine is a first-generation Honduran American from Southeast San Diego. She’s the host of the incredible podcast - the Hella Latin@. She created Hella Latin@ for Latinos to tell their first-generation and immigrant story, and share their unique experience of navigating identity in the U.S. Since starting her podcast, she’s become a LinkedIn-managed creator, won the top 61 Latino podcasts in 2021, and signed contracts with big tech to speak about topics curated for Latinos.
In this week’s episode, Pabel and Jasmine catch up and talk all about the next steps in their creative careers. Odalys talks about her new job and battling with feelings of imposter syndrome. She talks about not wanting to be a sellout while still achieving all of her career goals and balancing her own company with the Hella Latin@ podcast. Pabel talks about building the Plurawl app, why he cannot be a perfectionist, and why he’s trying to make mental health resources more accessible. He’s also going on tour (!!!) so make sure to subscribe and follow us on Instagram for more information on tour dates.
