We Are Free to Be Real

Last week, our message title was: You are Free to do Good. We talked about not being deceived by ourselves or others. Finally, we saw that we are free from doing what the flesh wants. In Christ, we are free to do good.

Today, we will finish our study through the Book of Galatians. Years ago, a friend’s youth ministry was called “Be Real.” I thought about that a lot this past week. In Christ Jesus, we have been given a new life. When we find our identity in Him, we can truly “Be Real.”

Our message for today is titled: “We are Free to Be Real.”

Our points will be:

  1. You are Free from Perceived Inabilities
  2. You are Free to Be You
  3. You are Free From Boasting in Self
  4. You are Free to Share Your Scars

    • Are you allowing something to hold you back from serving Christ? If so, list it/them.
    • How can God be glorified by your perceived inability?
    • Do you find your identity in anything other than Christ? If so, list it/them.
    • What is more important, what you listed, or Christ?
    • Why is it easy to boast about yourself?
    • Why do we put so much value on what others think of us?
