We Are Free to Do Good

Listen Later

Last week, our message title was: Better Than GPS. The main idea of our time together was that the Holy Spirit is infinitely better than one of the best inventions of mankind, the Global Positioning System - GPS.

Today, we will look at the idea of being free to do good. The law of the land says: You scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours. The law of Christ says to love your neighbor as you love yourself. I hope that our time together will benefit you in your walk with Christ. May you seek to make Him known wherever you are.

Our message for today is titled: “We are Free to do Good”

Our points will be:

  1. Don’t Deceive Yourself
  2. Don’t Be Deceived by Others
  3. You Have Been Set Free to do Good
  4. Main Scripture: Galatians 6:1-10

    Supporting Texts: Matthew 9:36-38, Acts 15:10, 2 Corinthians 7:5-7, Galatians 5:14, Matthew 7:5, 2 Corinthians 10:17-18, Matthew 11:30, 1 Corinthians 9:4, Matthew 10:9-10, 1 Corinthians 9:27, 2 Corinthians 9:6

Diving Deeper. After listening to today's message, consider asking yourself the following questions:

    • Is it easy to deceive ourselves? Explain.
    • Why do we seek to justify our sin?
    • Is it easy to be deceived by others? Explain.
    • What do you enjoy most about your Freedom in Christ?
    • Do you truly seek to do good to others?
    • ...more
