Sometimes, life feels like you are paddling a boat upstream. Stop feeling sorry for yourself because you are not alone. God is with you. In I Peter 3:18-22 we read that Jesus Christ died once for all to be saved. He never sinned, but he died for sinners. Throughout time, mankind has turned their back on God and in some cases suffered a terrible fate. For those who ridiculed and mocked Noah as he built the ark, God had been patient, but only eight people survived the deluge. The others would not turn back to God and therefore did not survive. When you accept Christ as your savior, He takes on all your sins. Jesus suffered, was ridiculed, and mocked. But now He sits in glory with God. Jesus is the hope of the universe. A self-help book will not fix you. You will find all you need in Jesus Christ. As God told Noah to build the ark to be saved, He tells us to accept Jesus Christ as our one true savior. The water of the flood reminds us that the water of baptism saves us because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Water baptism saves only if you have a good conscience toward God. We do not know when Jesus is coming back but we know that God has been patient with us. There is a limited time for us to come to salvation. Are you ready?
