(Episode 21) London, England. The world today is dominated by politics, but Mohamed Hussein shares a different story. Mohamed was born a refugee. The beginning of his life was chaos, but also instilled a beautiful perspective. After spending most of his life in Norway, Mohamed decided he needed to see more. Hilariously, he embarked on a journey that parallels my own in a quest to see the United States. This interview was one of the most refreshing conversations I've had in quite some time. It reminded me why, even in the midst of all the problems, I am proud of where I come from. It reminded me that we, as a nation, are not our politics.
