It is evident that there is a religious machine that has the appearance that the gospel is alive, but is dead. The reality is it has become something no one really cares about anymore. That is what a woman from Alaska wrote to me regarding the once rich fertile soils of the natives there when the gospel was preached long ago. Now many decades later, the offspring of the elders that might show up in church that are very few are dead to the gospel.  This nation and several others have been over gospelized to the point that people are not interested in it anymore. They have created other versions and other angles of it, and emptied it of it's purity and power to save. I remember when the 44th president was in office for two consecutive terms, prayer was being echoed from earth into heaven "with loud shots and crying unto Him that was able to save us from death." But not now. Now there is heavy prayer emphasis on a man to save this nation. The only real salvation that matters is souls. Imagine if we prayed like that for those that are lost in our own families. Four more years is not going to matter, and whoever gets into office, it still will not matter. Like the Church of Ephesus who thought they were on the up and up with "their works, labor and patience." 

That they had an appearance of religious piety of "not being able to bear then which are evil." Basically, love was no longer the power behind the gospel. They became "holier than thou." Yet the Lord whose eyes are a flame of fire saw right through all those works, and basically said the same thing to the Ephesian church as He did to Adam, "Adam were are you!? Jesus told them that He had "somewhat against them, because they left their first love." His command was that they stop the dead works, and instead remember from where they fell and repent to Him. He gave them a choice. If they did not He would come quickly and would remove the candlestick from them. Which He actually did. And as the Laodicean church corresponds to this last days church, I happen to hear nothing about the candlestick being here and burning bright. In fact, I do not read anywhere else that there is an candlestick that made it to our day. God did not make an everlasting covenant with America. Only Israel. The only covenant He has made is with the lost humanity through the Blood of the New Covenant. Let us remember that we are now those who have the light of heaven within us, and all heaven is at our disposal for everything we need while we are here. Do not fear what the lost fear. That great light that is in you is now going to be the ONLY light that is going to shine in this nation that has now been plunged into a great darkness. The Candlestick is in YOU!
