This Sunday at Way Church, Ben Tarbuck launched our brand new series: Disciples. This Sunday at Way Church, Chevon shared a deeply reflective message through the powerful image of a sculptor carefully forming marble into a masterpiece, we were reminded that God shapes our lives with the same patience, care and intention.

Just as a sculptor slowly reveals beauty within stone, God is continually shaping us throughout our lives. The message invited us to reflect on how we often ask God to shape us, yet still wrestle with trusting His timing and His process.

This message was a gentle yet powerful reminder that we are God’s workmanship, formed with purpose and transformed over time as we surrender more of ourselves to Him. A beautiful invitation to trust the hands of the One who is shaping us into something far greater than we can yet see.

This Sunday, Dave Belfield continued his powerful message on purpose with a bold and refocusing reminder: don’t love the church, love God.

He challenged us to examine our motives and our foundation, reminding us that everything we do is ultimately for God, not for an organisation or a building. Because without God at the centre, what is church? It is His presence that gives it life, meaning and mission.

We were encouraged to lift our eyes beyond roles, routines and responsibilities and instead fix our hearts on Him alone. When we love God first, everything else finds its proper place.

This Sunday, Ben continued our 'We Are the MOVE of God' series with a powerful message on friendship and the people we choose to walk alongside. Looking at Gideon’s story, he highlighted the difference between devoted friends who strengthen our faith and doubtful voices that can pull us away from God’s purpose.

We were reminded that not every relationship is meant for every season and that God often refines our circles so we can move forward in obedience and courage. The right people don’t just stand near us they stand in faith with us

A timely and challenging message, calling us to consider who we journey with as we step into all God is asking of us.

This Sunday we gathered for First Fruits Sunday, a special and beautiful moment where we dedicated the first of our harvest to God. It was a time of surrender, gratitude and faith, trusting that when we place Him first, He will do immeasurably more than we could ever imagine in our lives.

God doesn’t fill what we refuse to empty and He often equips us with unexpected “weapons” that only make sense when we trust Him completely. Just as Gideon’s army carried jars, fire and trumpets. We are reminded that God’s power is revealed not through strength but through surrender.

This message is a call to lay things down, make room for God and trust that what He places in our hands, no matter how unlikely will be enough. Are you ready to be emptied, so God can fill you and pour His light into the world through you?
