the Lord rather than losing his head.

○ Rebuked

○ Called Satan

○ Tuned his back on Jesus...3 times

○ Had to be restored back into ministry

The degree of your doing will influence your outcome.

● 2 Kings 13 we have Joash the King at the death

bed of Elisha the prophet. Elisha gave the king a

task and the king had to do the task. The degree of

his doing influenced the outcome of the battle to

come.

● 2 Kings 4 woman with the jars and the oil...the

degree of her doing influenced how she lived the

rest of her life

I’m nervous...what if I miss, or mess up, or look like a

complete idiot on national tv??

● The Lord is rich in mercy and has already provided

a way of escape, restoration, deliverance, &

forgiveness.

● You have until the end of the game to take a

shot...then it’s game over.

● If you haven’t taken a shot on a relationship with

God...take the shot

● If you haven’t taken a shot on being filled with the

spirit...take the shot

● If you haven’t given God an opportunity to move

on your behalf...take the shot
