Hey there, this is sort of a prelude to the Punishment episode.  I just decided to take a quick 15 min and address some behaviors that teachers commonly use to address negative behaviors in the classroom.  You can't punish your way out of a problem and you have to be mindful of your own biases when addressing behavior because we will keep negative behaviors going that we are trying to eliminate.  We all have blind spots but we have to be willing to learn and take a step back.  Listen to me as I give my thoughts and hopefully you'll have that lightbulb moment.  Reach out to me at [email protected] and share any feedback/thoughts.  I look forward to hearing from you family!
