Why is Gold so unpopular today despite being a cornerstone of civilisations for thousands of years?

I have attempted to answer that question in this video today, because frankly I am dumbfounded by the absurdity of the irrational objections.

It's not that I don't want to have a conversation about gold and silver, it's not that I cannot prove that precious metals and commodities are the answer to all the economic ills in society.
