We Chose the Farm

If chicken math is part of the basics of chickens, then what we chat about, with chicken colors, feathers, genetic differences... yeah, definitely algebra... CALCULUS even.

And we also talk about Chicken Economics, but that didnt fit in the title :)

We're back for Season 2!

So you have the animals on the farm that you want... this season, we plan to talk next steps & exploring the OTHER ways to benefit from these species.

Today we dabbled in some chicken genetics to breed for specific qualities AND egg colors...more egg color fun to come.

Here are the photos Lianna found that REALLY likes.  We will link with photo creds.

Summer for farmers proves to be VERY difficult.  But we wanted to close out Season One (yes!  You heard right!) with a Current Events episode.

Lots to come with Season 2!  It will be surprise for us all.

PS Thank you for your continued support & downloads. You all make this so much fun!

See you in August!

Lianna & Lindsay

Come.... be entertained by Lindsay & Lianna's VERY limited knowledge of goats.  Please convince us to get goats.  Why do you have them & how do you prepare goat meat?

Bear with us as we fumble through our episode about goats.  I promise, our interview in the next episode will redeem us! :)

Episodes likes these are literally WHY we do this.  Lianna & Lindsay both publicly admit sheep are not our forte!  ENTER JULIE... what a wealth of knowledge.

We loved learning this way & we ALSO both have Julie on speed dial for when lambs enter our farms.

WE NEED YOUR HELP HERE....

Lianna & Lindsay know enough about sheep to keep them alive, but what are we missing?  Because we don't know quite so much about goats & sheep, we plan to do some interviews, so keep listening.

We learn together, so thanks in advance for the help!!

They're baaaack....

Jake & Nathan joined for our SECOND husbands edition & do not disappoint.  From Jakes less than ideal encounter with a beehive to Lindsay pulling Nathan's dreaming self back down to earth by his ankles... which is quite the head-tilting mental picture.

It is a BUSY season for us, so taking the time to sit down & just chat was really a much needed break for ALL four of us.  Hope you enjoy our candid evening.

Spring is here!  As well as special chickens, more pigs, a peacock, maybe some more baby rabbits, and a RESTAURANT??!  What?!

My, how time flies when you're having fun.  Listen to the monthly update with Lianna & Lindsay!

There's Dog People... and then there's CAT PEOPLE! :)  It's a good overview about cats today with a few fun facts & CRAZY stories mixed in.

How is it that cats can be the MEANEST and people still let them hang around?!!? :) Because they're cats.

When it comes to dogs, even though they are on our farm, they are a HUGE part of our family.  We chat about what's important to remember when choosing a dog for your family, PLUS some seriously funny facts about dogs smoking cigars & poodles at the opera!
