On this week’s episode, meet Elise Swopes — AKA, one of the sweetest, coolest chicks on the internet and an all-around amazing human being and creative. Elise is a whole vibe (she came on wearing a fuzzy orange jacket, orange clips, AND had an orange drink & straw — we love to see it), and we dove in with a pink grapefruit spritz cocktail named “Pink Outside the Box.”
We talked a lot about Elise’s super unconventional journey, about graduating college late (she just got her degree, so cool!), and about how NFTs have changed her whole career. We also get to hear about an event she photographed in Chicago that featured a really disconcerting, uncomfortable side of borderline animal cruelty and the time she ended up being on a hot air balloon that crashed — yes, CRASHED! — while working with a tourism board.
