This weekend we held a student hackathon over generational poverty. While the event itself was amazing, we missed the mark on how many students we wanted to attend?

While I tell myself this is a part of "testing the waters," it still was a punch to the gut.

So, how can we get better? What will we do differently next time?

I guess that is ALWAYS the journey of a startup... nonprofit or not.
