Ruth Says Okey Dokey

Everything happens as Naomi said

Boaz was Eating and Drink - His Merry Heart

He went to Lie Down

Ruth Shot her Shot - Did just as Naomi said

Midnight comes and things happens

Boaz was startled with a ‘woman’ at his feet

Asks who it is and Ruth responds

Ruth makes her request - Spread Your wings Over your Servant 

Ruth states why she makes the request of him - for you are a Redeemer (Go ‘el)

Boaz responds

Be blessed by the LORD

Calls her daughter

Levels of Kindness (Is he flattered?)

Not gone after you men

Not worried about wealth

Will comply with her ask - because of who she is and reputation

Worthy woman for a Worthy man (same meaning for worthy?)

I am a redeemer, but there are levels to this - have to follow the order

I will as long as he will not (the nearer redeemer)

The morning comes

She stayed with him till the morning (at his feet, get your mind out the gutter)

Ruth rose while it was still dark?

Boaz says - don’t tell anyone you were here

Gave her more barley (six measures)went to glean, after the reapers

She went back to the city

Naomi wants the tea

Told her everything

Showed her the barley

Boaz mentioned why he gave her the barley (so she would continue to look worthy?)

Naomi knows these people

Tell Ruth to wait (Was Ruth excited?)

Knows that Boaz will settle it today
