We have to deal with death and it's effects everyday. And death does not discriminate - every person is affected by it. We grieve our losses. But yet, as Christians, we grieve with hope. Because we believe in a Savior who lived and died and rose again to take away the sting of death and give us the promise of life after the grave. This truth brings our minds peace and gives our hearts hope as we temporarily say goodbye to our loved ones and as we look forward to that day when we will be with the Lord forever.
This sermon based on 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 was preached on November 15, 2020, the third sermon in a four week series called, "Lord, Keep us to the End."
