I know these descriptions are usually supposed to be funny, we do a little haha and maybe you laugh, but this time we at Water Cooler Productions want to take a moment for something a little more serious. This week we lost a very important man, not just to us but to the world. A man who breathed life into a number of important roles, Jackie Robinson, James Brown, King T'Challa, and many more. Chadwick Boseman made huge waves for his short time in the spotlight, he deeply impacted many communities and did worlds of good for representation in movies. He will be dearly missed. Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Chadwick Boseman. Rest in power. This episode we go on a deep space exploration of sexism in comics, from its history to some of its most prominent offenders we want to talk about this serious issue that often goes overlooked and is a big barrier to entry for new comic fans. We also want to show that this is an issue that is getting worked on day after day by amazing creators in the comic industry fighting for representation, but we also understand that there are still people who push back towards this march in the right direction. We talk about the abhorrent Patriotika, who's kickstarter will be linked below, I recommend you look at it but for the love of god do not give these men any money. We sure do have issues. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mountolympuscomics/patriotika-1
