On the 4th anniversary of the Parkland School Shooting, we wanted to talk about public acts of violence and how they are shaping Gen Z and Generation Alpha. So, we invited Emma who is Anne's former Writing student and currently attending BGSU to listen to her experience and her perspective on the violence she has seen growing up.
We tackle a lot of difficult topics that all center on acts of violence like school shootings, police shootings, violence against women, non-binary friends, and POC; and how all of these things are shaping Gen Z.
Just like the "Duck and Cover" Generation, public acts of violence impact the decisions we make on a daily basis and our hopes for the future. Sit down and enjoy our firey chat with Emma, who shares so openly about the things facing her generation and the hope that we will be able to learn from previous generations' mistakes.
