Proverbs says that there is a way that seems right to a man, but it leads only to the way of death. But the great news is that God loves us, and He's always willing to interrupt our path to show us His. He's a gentleman, and never forces it upon us; He gives us a choice to obey Him. But, who wouldn't want to trade in a doomed plan for God's good plan? Jeremiah says that God knows the plans He has for us- to give us a future and a hope.
