President Trump is taking a lot of heat for agreeing to a peace deal that is very favorable to Iran. Iran will get money for reconstruction (although not from us), have decades-long sanctions against them lifted, and they’ll emerge from this with the IRGC intact and their country more respected.
In essence, this is another war we’ve lost. Fortunately, we didn’t have to win it, like most wars we’ve gotten in. In fact, we would’ve lost more by winning.
