臺灣的原住民和客家族群關係相當密切，因為地緣關係，原住民與客家人混雜居住，例如：苗栗南庄的客家人與賽夏族。原住民與客家人也經常互相學習生活習慣，例如：料理，像是原住民經常使用的樹豆，在客家料理「樹豆豬腳湯」也能看見。
