In this very special twentieth episode, we introduce our new game rating system. Going forward all games will be rated in strips of bacon (thanks JT). Anna and Myron review a few new boardgames. Azul Stained Glass of Sintra and Sagrada are both stained glass themed games, but with different game mechanics. Anna rates both as 4 satisfying pieces of bacon, with Azul winning the overall favorite pick out of the two similarly themed games. Jaipur is a two-player card game that plays fast and is easy to pick up on short notice. Collect goods from the market, sell for a profit and win. 4 meaty slices of bacon to Jaipur.
Crackdown 3 debuted on the Xbox and it was not worth the extended wait. The crew all agrees that the gameplay is subpar, the graphics are lacking, and the 2-player coop limitation is a real bummer. It might be worth playing for free on Gamepass, but it’s definitely not worth premium dollars. This game definitely doesn’t pass the bacon test. It’s like the paper thin bacon from IHOP. It still tastes like bacon and is reasonably enjoyable, but completely lacking in substance.
