We created the very problem that is tearing their country apart. The cartels absolutely run every aspect of life in Mexico and whenever an average Mexican citizen runs afoul of them, they run for our border hoping to be saved. We either turn them away, lock them up, and separate them from their children in hopes of deterring them from coming back. President Donald Trump has even suggested shooting them as they come across the border. If we even consider granting them asylum, we make them wait in Mexico for their court date, where most of them end up dead.  

The hypocrisy of destroying their country with our illicit drug dollars and then refusing to help them with the fallout and the human cost created by the cartels, should make you sick to your stomach. If you have a functioning conscience, that is.
