We Meet The CATL Shenxing Pro Battery At IAA 2025!

As the world's largest electric vehicle battery manufacturer, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) battery packs now power one in every three electric vehicles. To help maintain its market-leading position, CATL is innovating new EV battery packs at an astonishing pace.
Six months ago, at CATL Tech Day 2025, it unveiled the Shenxing 2 Superfast Charging Battery, an LFP pack capable of a 12C charge rate. Now, it’s back with a new battery: the Shenxing Pro.
We were lucky enough to be invited to see the reveal event firsthand at IAA 2025 in Munich last week. Here’s what we learned.
