Call to Worship: Psalm 13 NIV (Amended)

1      How long, Lord? Will you forget us forever?              How long will you hide your face from us?2      How long must we wrestle with our thoughts              and day after day have sorrow in our hearts?              How long will our enemy triumph over us?

3      Look on us and answer, Lord my God.              Give light to our eyes, or we will sleep in death,4      and our enemy will say, “I have overcome them,”              and our foes will rejoice when we fall.

5      But we trust in your unfailing love;              our heart rejoices in your salvation.6      We will sing the Lord’s praise,              for you has been good to us.
