The pastoral epistles first and second Timothy and Titus explicitly teach us that God has decreed that we his church would live in times marked by escalating sin, rebellion, and godlessness. In latter times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teaching of demons through the insincerity of liars whose conscience is seared. However, Christ is our head and He is maturing us through His people His gifts and His providential rule. Nothing can separate us from God’s love!
