Message: We Must Protect This House
THINGS WE SHOULD KNOW:
- Satan is our GREATEST ENEMY.
(1 Peter 5:8)(NIV) Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
- Satan is daily DESTROYING FAMILIES.
(John 10:10)(NIV) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
- Most are doing NOTHING ABOUT IT.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO?
- WAKE UP spiritually.
(Ephesians 5:14-15) (NLT) 14This is why it is said, “Awake, O sleeper,
rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”15 So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise.
(Ephesians 6:12)(NLT) For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
- Choose to WALK WITH GOD.
(Genesis 6:8-9) (NLT) 8But Noah found favor with the LORD. 9This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he walked in close fellowship with God.
(2 Corinthians 6:16)(NLT) For we are the temple of the living God. As God said: “I will live in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
(John 15:5)(NIV) "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
- Provide a GODLY EXAMPLE.
(Titus 2:7)(NLT) And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching.
(1 Peter 4:16)(ESV) Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.
(1 Timothy 4:12)(NLT) ….Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
- Teach your children GOD’S WAY.
(Deuteronomy 6:5-9) (NLT) 5 And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. 6 And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. 7Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. 8 Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminde
