Pastor Chris wrapped up a fall series on the ascension of Christ with a comparison between the priests of the Children of Israel-- and most especially the time they led the way across the Jordan River-- and our Ultimate Priest, Jesus Christ. Some evangelicals might have a hard time relating to the notion of a priesthood, but we surely do need a priest. Thanks be to God that we have one working on our behalf even now.
