John 3:1-17

Today we get to look at the most well-known passage in the Bible—John 3:16. John 3:16 is such a massive, world-wrapping statement to the point where we maybe forget about the personal conversation this amazing passage was part of. Jesus was talking to just one person, a guy named Nicodemus. As we look at John 3 today, we’re reminded that God’s love is so big, and yet at the same time it’s so personal and patient. These words are universal yet personal. This is what I really need. I need a Savior whose grace is big enough to save the universe. And I need a Savior whose grace is personal enough to reach me.
