Liberalism promotes freedom. Liberals do not explain what they want to be free from. Freedom for a liberal is like a get out of jail free card, a carte blanche permission slip that permits anything. What they do not say and most do not know is that the freedom they long for is freedom from justice. Yet, without justice we have nothing of our own and no future.
