too full of ugliness
we need to blank it out."
Would that everything
in this world was
more blanks!
Blank checks
to fill the needs
of the unblanketed,
and the empty bellies
of the hungry.
Endless blank spaces
on the casualties of war list.

blank documents
when it comes to divorce,
cause it's always the children
who get hurt of course,
and we need more blanks fired
by policemen to scare
any unarmed suspects,
who are dying out there....
Please don't give me a blank look
try to understand
there's just not enough blanks
things have gotten out of hand....

covering nothing
that's tragic each day
Blank books about hate.
filled up with nothing to say....
and brilliant blank verse
that will bring peace to our hearts
perhaps the answer is blank
what wisdom it can impart.
Blank faces staring out
at the sunrise in
the war torn, ravaged
Middle East
without the agonies of
an I.E.D.'s creating victims
who have D.-I.-E.-D.
.......as veiled women
bend to do
thier ordinary tasks.
Shepherding children
off to school,
baking pita bread;
hot and savory,
and filled with
the meat of plenty,
from a pacifistic,
sacrificial lamb!

of pages after page of
humans being cruel

might help us all get schooled...
