It's been a while since we've actually interviewed a USER of CoLiving but it's great to see the positive impact living in community can have on an individual.

It's also nice to show that it is not just 20 year olds Coliving together.

Here is a 38 year old & 39 year old who both prefer to CoLive!

Here's Kalen's Story...

"I moved into Haven coliving in Venice Beach, California as a result of wanting to relocate to where I was last happy in my life, and where I started my career here in Los Angeles, years prior.

The idea of moving into a mindful community also offered its benefits. Yet most members felt the offer sounded too good to be true with rooftop patios, yoga studio, theatre room, coworking space gym, all for $1,000/month…I am happy to say, HAVEN is real! Even my pod has offered some of the best sleeps ever. Sorry, my 'Japanese style sleeping pod' ;)

The benefits of living in community has changed my mental health as I have battled with depression over the past two decades. I have even captured stories of transformation from other members who have benefitted from living here too. ‘Happiness is health. If you are happy, you are healthy’ quoted from DeAndre Sinette, a member who’s profile I captured recently.

My work and overal wellbeing has improved so much that today, I am carving a niche for myself in the covling space as a media specialist, helping communities tell their stories, better, attracting like-minded members, increasing engagement through content and programing and retaining aluma by promoting their specialities online. Shout-outs to Selina, Zuko, Treehouse, Dojo Bali and Outpost…I’m coming for you!

To my friends, family and listeners, coliving offers a cultural shift and an answer to so many problems around the world including but not limited to the housing crisis, mental health, professional development and overal happiness and well being.
