The Dove Awards, an entity of the Gospel Music Association, claims to have edited out Kirk Franklin's comments calling attention to the shooting of Atatiana Jefferson in his hometown of Fort Worth Texas, they say because of "time constraints." The problem is, they did the same thing to Franklin back in 2016. When will these organisations stop slighting and discounting the contributions of artists and ministers of color?
