The world as we knew it is dead. It was replaced by the era of survival, where every day is a struggle not only with hunger and cold, but also with a ruthless reality, where the most terrible monsters were once neighbors, friends, relatives.
"Sunset of Pandemic 2" is not just a zombie story. This is a deep, multi-layered saga about people trapped on the ruins of civilization. The action takes place in the vast expanses of Russia — from the snowy Siberian taiga to the Black Sea coast. The author masterfully paints pictures of a new world, where the silence of the forest can be deceptive, and the warmth of a campfire is the only reminder of a former life.
There is no place for weakness in this world. Young Dina will have to walk hundreds of kilometers alone through forests teeming not only with infected people, but also with those who are scarier than any zombie. The squad of Ivan Vorobyov, an astronaut who returned from Mars to the world of the apocalypse, embarks on a dangerous sortie in the hope of finding loved ones. Their path lies through dead cities, where danger lurks not only on the streets, but also in the most unexpected places.
And somewhere in the snowy wilderness, Professor Khaimovich, whose discovery may have caused the disaster, is trying to earn forgiveness by protecting a little girl, Tanya. Their solitary existence is a fragile world where every day is a test of strength, a struggle with harsh nature and their own past.
