“I always wanted for my son to have sort of an epic childhood. I did not know what that meant…[but] I knew that homeschooling would be a part of that. But then I did not know how else it would be epic. But I knew that I wanted him to experience other cultures and see things a different way. And this was what happened.”
On today's episode, Zélie talks to Shonda Bradford who left New York with her five-year old son to travel through Mexico. She talks about traveling long term as a single mom as well as what it is like living and traveling through Mexico as a family of color as opposed to the United States.

In this podcast we speak to Jacqui and Daniel New about their family quarantine experience during COVID-19 pandemic. The New family recently arrived back in Australia after being quarantined in Bolivia for almost two months.
A nomadic family quarantine experience
Jacqui and Daniel have been world schoolers for the past four years. In a future episode, we'll dive into how and why they first sold everything and left Australia. But as COVID-19 is still impacting so many travelers around the world, we wanted to hear this tale of escape and resilience.
This family quarantine story offers reflections on returning home and what traveling in the future will look like for them.
In today’s podcast, Clint talks to Tina Rogers who got caught in northern Italy just as the pandemic was beginning to hit hard. So many of our traveling friends are still in various parts of the world experiencing different impacts from the Coronavirus. In this interview, conducted last March, we hear of Tina’s experience trying to find a safe place when so many of us don’t necessarily have a home.
On today's show, we speak with Darcy Tuscano who is quarantined with her wife and two children in Spain for the umpteenth day. In fact, she just ran out of water. She tells us a little bit about how she got where she is and what the Coronavirus is like in Spain.
Wayne and Anna Saucier are working nomads traveling the world since 2017 with their two young children. We talk about life on the road with two young children as well as before and after traveling while being location independent.
A show about working nomads living and traveling full time around the world with kids.
