The book of 2 Corinthians chapter 1 and verse 8, “For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life.“

The life of the apostle Paul shows us the miraculous change that takes place when people truly come face to face with God. He was a man who was completely self-focused, but when he met God he became completely others-focused. To the point, that he would endure personal hardship rather than inflict it. So that others may find the love of God that he now knew.

If you and I have been touched by God, we have to be touched with the struggles of this generation in which we are living, and the evidence of truly being touched by God is that we will be drawn to the one who can change.
