Wealth In Today's World (Part 1) – Paul D. Lowe & Andrew Batt
On this episode Paul is joined by returning guest and World Game-Changers director, Andrew Batt, for the first of a two-part episode about wealth in today’s world. They look at it from two angles, firstly around what’s happening in the outside world (crypto, etc), and in the second episode they’ll talk about wealth from a more personal perspective.

Crypto, for example, is a decentralised finance platform, and as with anything like this there’ opportunities for investment. At the same time, my Mum invested in another home and that’s quadrupled in value in the last 20 years.
- Most people say “I wish I invested in ‘x’ back then”, the one thing we can’t do is time travel – that I’m aware of – what I tend to do is use hindsight to create my foresight. Then I’m able to make better decisions in the present. None of us have got a crystal ball. NFTs and crypto could be normal currencies in 20 years’ time. It’s a constant evolution.

‘I’m not a big fan of going backwards. We evolve, so going backwards feels like the wrong direction. But having a bigger sense of community for me is a good thing, especially in collaborative business. You go faster and further when you do it together.’
