What is Weaning Faith? In Psalms 131:2, David says his soul is like a weaned child with his mother. In context, he is speaking of being weaned or to withdraw from emotional and soulish attitudes such as fear; depression; being ashamed before God; being weighed down by stress, burdens and troubles; and murmuring. These attitudes can limit the work of God in one's life. We have been cleansed by the Blood of Jesus and accepted by God.
