According to recent reporting on data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nineteen major drug-resistant germs are responsible for an estimated 9.7 million infections and 50,800 deaths in the US each year. These organisms have developed resistance to medications that have developed resistance to medications that once easily controlled them. These are often called superbugs.

The US government sends out agents to go door-2-door in several states to verify if the people living in that homestead are US citizens or illegal immigrants. According to reports, armed federal agents have been conducting door-to-door visits in multiple states as part of an initiative focused on alleged voter fraud and immigration enforcement. Whether you agree or disagree with the policy is not the point of this segment. The point is the weapon. A weapon is more than metal, ammunition, and training. A weapon is also authority. It is the government's ability to compel, investigate, detain, and under certain circumstances, use force. When an armed agent stands at a doorstep, the citizen is not simple encountering another person. They are encountering the visible representation of state power. That is why weapons awareness matters.

And the giant tree trunk signs reads: DEER, ELK, DUCKS, AND ICE FISHING SEASON RUNS with dates, times, and weapons of choice.
