For years, men and woman have been discriminated against for their hair. It seems as if natural hairstyles have been deemed unkempt or unacceptable. With the help of Dove and the Crown Coalition, the Crown Act was established but it’s still more work to do. People’s identities are through their hair but when we are judged because of our hair, it can change how we feel about ourselves, especially in our primitive years.
